It makes the dark and serious parts that much more amazing, providing the comic relief before and after the heavy episodes. Some of the most powerful moments in tv come from Buffy. If you look at episodes like "Passion, The Body, Hush, Seeing Red, OMWF" the show didn't just bend or break barriers, it smashed the hell out of them. Sep 27 13 06:52 am Link And so begins Buffy Season I Disc 3. Sep 27 13 04:14 pm Link Just 3 more episodes of Buffy to go, and then...I'll have 18 more DVDs of Buffy to watch. Oct 06 13 04:13 pm Link Also, I learned that this Whedon guy isn't the annoying kid on the Star Trek remake that everyone hated. I've apparently been living in ignorance for a decade or more. Oct 06 13 04:52 pm Link All these years and people have done nothing but lie to me about Buffy. Buffy's hot. Willow's hot. Buffy's hot. Willow's hot. Druscilla's hot! Buffy's hot. Willow's hot. And now that Buffy is long over, and long done, they still go on about it. And yet, Anya's the hot one. And she has the awesome personality. And yet, I'd never even heard of her before this!
