MODEL INSTRUCTIONS:

(1) You are being paid to participate as a Nude Model or Implied Model for the Group Shoot Portion of the event, In exchange for this, you will be paid $100 ($50.00 for Implied).
Other shoots do not pay for the first 4 hours - Your only pay is for 1-on-1's. -- You are required to pose Nude /Implied during the group shoot, (unless special arrangements are made with the Sponsor).

(2) You are NOT required to pose "Hustler" style but if you feel comfortable enough to do that, it is perfectly acceptable.

(3) Please do your own hair / make-up.  NOTE: If You turn out to be a "Dressing Room Camper", You will not be invited back. PLEASE BRING A TOWEL AND A PLASTIC BAG FOR YOUR WET CLOTHING WITH YOU. THERE IS A POOL AT THIS LOCATION.

(4) You may sell model releases for up to $20.00 each, $30.00 for Hustler Style.

(5) You will book your own 1-on-1 sessions, release included, at your own rate. (We recommend $40.00 per 30 minutes) but this rate is entirely up to you.

You must work the whole group shoot in order to sell 1-on-1 spots. I will not allow you to arrive at 3pm and expect to work the 1-on-1 portion without working the group shoot.
You will be provided a safe & friendly work environment.

(7)

Photographers are NOT allowed to touch or Manhandle you in any manner without your permission.

(8) As per the invitation letter which you all will receive - if you are 1 hour late, your base pay will be reduced by 25%.
PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME.

PHOTOGRAPHER INSTRUCTIONS:

(1)If the Ratio becomes greater than 4 photographers to 1 Model, I will offer partial refunds to the photographers.  The amount will be determined solely by me based on the situation.

(2) Photographers limited to 30. This will be supported by at least 9 Models.

Photographers are NOT allowed to touch or manhandle the models

(4) Registration $80.00 in advance.

(5) If you are a member of the New Faces Camera Club, Your Registration will be $70.00 -- You may join the NFCC for $35.00 per year at this event or any other NFCC event.

(6) If you bring a new Photographer who has not been to our event, You will get in for 1/2 price as long as he pays full price. If you bring 2 newbies, your entry is FREE.

(7) Models will be selling releases for the group shoot for $20.00 ($30.00 for Hustler Style)

(8) You can bring your own lighting equipment, but I would at least suggest a pocket wizard or similar unit. (*) NOTE:
PLEASE limit it to 1 light & stand per photog during the group portion.

Why do we suggest a Pocket Wizard?
It is to limit the number of cords that are lying on the ground so there is less of a chance of tripping over a cord

(9) For Private 1-on-1 shoots between 3:00 and 5:00pm, you may book your favorite model(s) in 30 minute increments at a rate of approximately $40.00 including release.

You must pay for the group shoot even if you do not participate in order to hire a model for 1-on-1's.

We are no longer accepting PayPal services.  This company engages in censorship and I will not support this.
NOTE:  Please Do Not Use PayPal for this Event.  The Email address for Maidens in Paradise is: "[email protected]". I will allow you to pay at the door if you send me an e-mail first to get a reservation. If you abuse this privilege, it will not be available to you again.

(12)If You give me a Deposit or Full Payment and cannot make the shoot, Call in Advance and your reservation money will be transferred to the next event. - (If you are a no show, there will be no refund.  I have to pay the models whether or not you show up) No Direct Cash Refunds

(13)If you tie up a model with an after shoot 1-on-1 and then are a no show (Without a Phone Call), You are responsible for paying the model her missed 1-on-1 fee.  A simple phone call to the model or sponsor can fix this and the model can replace you on her schedule.

THIS IS A LISTING OF INVITED MODELS - Models will be added as they are hired and we will do everything in our power to insure that they will show-up: Every one of these models is real (not a figment of my imagination) and their Model Mayhem numbers are listed for you to check out their portfolios.  PLEASE DO NOT HARASS THE MODELS WITH SILLY MESSAGES. It is acceptable to contact a model to arrange a 1-on-1 slot in advance.

Don't forget to bring a plastic bag big enough to put your towel and swim suit in after you dry off. Otherwise, if you put your wet itemsl in with your clothes, your clothes will become damp and after sitting a while a little musty.

Let me get the conversation started.

!. Any model or photographer who wants to know if either party is selling their images or profitting from them in any way can simply do a Google Search. You would not believe how many things come up and how many places people post images. I can even tell you which forums you have posted in on MM and what you said in recent months.

2. "Abuse" if anyone wanted to abuse it they will no matter what.

3. The purpose of a Portfolio Use Only Model Release is merely so that "more photographers" will attend group shoots.

4. Photographers looking to do group shoots do it for the lower cost and getting to shoot several models for their money. For the $80 fee a photographer has to compete with 10 to 30 other photographers to shoot pics of a model. He has to hope to get at the right angle and that the model faces him once in a while or many pics are worthless. A group shoot is in no way like a one on one shoot. But, isn't that why we pay a lower fee. Lastly, like myself if someone like the look or the way a model works the camera they more than likely will ask to shoot one on one at some other time.

Maybe just allow pics to be posted to this thread without a release?  My guess is the average model at the shoot doesn't sell all that many releases as it is.   I'd be surprised if the average sells over 5 releases, meaning only like 1 out of 8 photographers buys a release from that model, or conversely the average photographer buys 1 or 2 releases.  Given there apparently haven't been issues in the past, I don't see any big reason to change what seems to work pretty well.  Cutting off one of the model income streams might well cut down on the number/quality of models willing to attend.

Just keep it the way it is, it is working and any change might rock the boat. Letting people to post pics of the shoot at this forum, without a release, might help both the model and promoter.
