Oh you can still go outside. It's just cold, so I chose to stay inside and play video games. Me and winter don't get along to well.

Today wasn't so bad though, only -5

Ice... It rained/sleeted last night, so it's heavy and yucky. Terrible to clear... I do not envy those that have to head into the office!

Amazingly, we didn't get that much this time. Maybe 5 inches of heavy, wet goopy slush. It got warmish during the night and a lot of it's already melted. After the past couple months, I am soooo grateful.

The only reason I'm not miserable right now is because I'm moving to San Diego sometime this year and this will be the last time I have to deal with 20+ inches of snow.

Eff the snow.
Eff it with a sandpaper dildo.

I had finally cleared the driveway to the street and a County Plow just came and blocked me in again. Once more and I think I'm done. We got 15 inches of heavy, wet snow with possibly more tonight.

I feel sorry for you all on the east coast, but I am glad it's you this time. We have two feet of snow on the ground, but it has all come in 2, 3 and 4 inch increments. We haven't gotten dumped on (yet). It looks like our month of bitter cold is finally coming to an end. May make it above freezing next week. It hasn't stopped us from doing anything, though. My whole family and I have gone cross country skiing every weekend even when it was -10. We're pretty tough around here.

We just got about 8 inches of snow overnight.

Meh. At least it's not freezing like the 9th level of hell.

I don't mind it too much - then again, I don't drive and I don't have to shovel anything where I live, so I would probably have a different opinion if I did.

A friend in L.A. asked me about my weather. I said we were to get another 4 inches today. He asked if I had any snow on the ground? I laughed, thinking he was joking. He was not. It's so deep in places that my boots that are almost to my knees got snow in them today. I don't drive, I walk or take the bus. I have not left the house for months except for groceries, doctor's appointments, to get medicine, etc. If it's not necessary I don't go out in this. We have no sidewalks in a lot of areas and the sidewalks we do have are not cleared. Our mayor took it upon himself to tell our town he would not enforce the law that they be cleared. Guess who is not getting my vote?

I missed the snow, but was a bit disappointed when I got to BWI last night. Not the winter apocalypse the news made it out to be. I'd guess about 4-6" of the white stuff. Thankfully my awesome neighbor shoveled out my driveway.

We are supposed to get 3 to 5 inches this afternoon. If memory serves I have not seen the pavement on my street since just after Christmas. It seemed at least a couple times a week we were getting 6 inches. I was shoveling so much it began to feel like my job.

We had one snow that turned to rain and then overnight went below zero. There was no hope shoveling that the next day, and I have not shoveled since, other than a path from my van door to the front door of the house. It is a good thing I have a high clearance vehicle. Spring thaw is my driveway's only hope now smile
