Models will rarely ever just "find" your page.  You have to make that happen.

1.) Use the "Browse" function to find models in your area who you're interested in working with.  You can also use the "Casting/Travel" section and search for models traveling to your area, or search local models who have posted availability notices.

2.) Send "Friend Requests" to every model you might be interested in working with.

3.) Make picture comments on images you like in model portfolios.

4.) Leave tags on the pages of models that you're interested in working with.

5.) Post in the forums.

6.) Send pm's to models you'd like to work with.

7.) Post announcements on the front page.

8.) Meet some new people in the "Shout" section.

All of the above will help drive traffic to your portfolio, and get models looking at your work.  Best of luck!  smile

I had a portfolio here for nearly a year, which I used periodically throughout 2007. In 2008, when I started spending time on the forums, my portfolio traffic more than doubled. Most trips I book successfully, start out with communicating with someone I met through commenting on the message boards.

I had a similar issue, using casting/travel and browse functions are key.

Also, PM the model, but don't be too generic, explain your concept and show some inspiration that you use to get his/her buy in.  if you can, explain how you believe the model in question would compliment your concept.

In the several years that I have been on MM, I have been approached by only one local model. Except for travelling models, models will not approach you - you have to seek out the model.

Post Casting Calls, make comments on model's pics or simply PM them, if they like your work and believe you can help build their portfolio, they will get back to you.

You've got the experience so I think you'll be able to start booking in a matter of time.

I wish that I had known that you were recently in Michigan.  We might have been able to work together.   sad
