We all have dreams and goals and some people feel like they've been put here for a certain reason. In short I want to rise above gain the audience and strive for a better place, help the sad, poor and corrupt and change this world.

How about you?

I just want photographers to stop saying "Maybe you should just keep this as a hobby"

I want to make enough money to buy a huge amount of land and create a natural building community powered by solar energy. Completely self sustained. Food forests. Raising alpacas, goats and chickens.  Then having a section of the land fenced off as a cat sanctuary so rescue cats can have a place to live and not having to be killed.

I want to make it to Hollywood.

Not with the modeling, but with the acting.

My goal is to get close enough to Ben Affleck to tell him just what I really think of him..

and to get close enough to Ryan Gosling, to tell HIM what I really... but that's a story for another restraining order...

And of course adopt another  1257 cats. big_smile

To discredit the notion of fame as much as possible, since I find it so irritating.   It would also be a fine way to amuse myself.

I was going to say to be able to do what I'm doing right now, but your response has a better "ring" to it

Just a word of caution.

Most people I have met have a distorted view of what being famous is like.

Having been there, being famous is anything but something you'd want. You are constantly judged, talked about, ridiculed, you become a material soulless object that everyone around you owns and molds into what they perceive you to be.

You loose yourself, you as a person, and you have to watch what you say, please others, who are never please-able.

Being famous also does not equate to being rich or successful, most famous people suffered a lot in poverty AND at the hands of their audience.

If you can get people to pay to watch and hate/ridicule you, then you can make money off of that, but that takes a huge emotional toll. No different than selling your soul to the devil.

I went into acting only because I love art, not because of my natural stage presence, which I never understood why everyone around me was obsessed about, I just wanted to distance myself from that as far as possible.

If that happens, I want to make tons of money for animal welfare and forest conservation.

When I break into fame I want to hire more people on a more regular basis. That's how I'll help the community, by bringing in work and hiring more people in the photographic community. If they want to "change the world" then maybe the bit of income I can kick their way will assist. But myself, I'm a realist, perhaps a bit jaded, and I tend to focus on things I can actually effect.

I don't want fame, better to be anonymous and wealthy.  Remind of that great old book/study the millionaire next door.

Read it when I was young (not young enough) and it change how I look at life.

Coming from someone who grew up in section eight housing, with a disability and in a family of people who never made it to college; if i make it big i just want to live comfortably. I want for my husband and I to be able to have the things we want and be able to provide those around us with the things they need.

With ya on that one!

I just want to make it to where I am content with my life and my family is also taken care of. I want to become the best model I could be. I like the work and the challenge that comes with it. I strive better when I am under pressure.

I hope to also change the whole too skinny look in the modeling world. It would be nice to see average, normal, healthy looking women modeling. Not that I do not appreciate those models who work really hard to maintain their looks, it is just nice to see full figured, "normal", women doing it.

I also see that the young models look to the older experienced models as well, role-models. Becoming an inspiration to someone is another one of my goals.

WHEN we all make it make sure to come back here and re-read these! It will be nice to come back and read what my goals were today!

Much Love,

Selenne

"Fame" truly isn't my goal. LONGEVITY and CONSISTENCY in my modeling career is my goal. I just want to travel, learn other cultures, meet different people and die a better person. I also want to own a business but that has nothing to do with modeling lol.

To be able to remember my own name in 10 years time.  (Mostly because at the moment I forget everyone elses within 10 seconds of hearing it.)
