This guy claims to be a professional photographer, and the photo displayed in the ad surely is indicative of the quality images that he produces.

This guy isn't joking, he's seriously trying to give advice!

He recommends visiting www.lasvegassos.com .  That in itself is hilarious!

I don't understand how a real person or business would never give money to someone they haven't worked with before.  I do it everyday... many times throughout the day.  I can't imagine walking into a 7-11 to buy a Slurpee and refusing to pay for it because I never worked with the guy before... but then hey, that's just me!

That's some hefty compensation

They must really know what they're doing to pay that much

Probably has a profile on here, too. This should get interesting popcorn

Toto was actually correct, the white knight guy says check www.lasvegas sos.com which isn't a website, but if you don't put the space in, it becomes a real website.

The white knight has a history of displaying these kinds of messages.  I think he's actually trying to refer people to the Nevada Secretary of State (listings of corporations) but he got it all wrong.

Las Vegas is a city.  There's no secretary of state.
A photographer doesn't have to incorporate to be a photographer.
This guy thinks that just because he is incorporated, he's a legitimate photographer.

I'm totally not legit then.

1 - WOOT I have a website!
2 - that's not a state website.
3 - What are you checking on google? That old guy that likes vinyl records?
4 - I offer money to models I've never worked with before all the time.
5 - The last 10 models I've shot came to my house.

I think I failed.

RE: http://lasvegassos.com/ --- while someone else is whitenighting, though somewhat less poorly, and more generally informative

#1 and 2 - I have a legit website (that I never use) and a @jayleavitt.com email... if I didn't want to, since I never update my website, and wanted to save that money, am I no longer legit? (I'm a photographer, not a company)

6 - I book for specific dates (I'm a photographer, not a company)

9 - When I do pay, it's in cash (I'm a photographer, not a company)

I'd had a comment up about the link not working. SayCheez covers that fact (and much more) above.

I don't trust Craig's list, well at least not in NYC. lol

I definitely fail that quiz too. I shoot at home, I don't meet in public and I don't pay in cash. I use cookies!

People pay me with Tennessee Whiskey!

Will trade for Whiskey! big_smile

facepalm

1. Website Filles de Pin-up Check
2. No need to register with the state, but did with IRS. Fail
3. My web site is on the 1st page on Google. Check
4. I have given cash to models I never met before. Fail
5. I usually photograph in a park that is next to a police station. Check

I guess a 60% is not passing?

Gosh, I failure on ALL counts!

(1) I don't have a website that I would send potential models to at this time.  I usually send them here to my MM profile if they don't have one too.

(2) I'm not in Nevada and have no clue what the hell that site is about or why I should even be on it!

(3) Google me all you want, but you might mix me up with a semi-celebrity who works with George Lucas.  < Yes, for real!

(4) I have paid models with whom I have not worked with before. Does that make me bad?   lol

(5) I'm not against public places, but models come out to where I live, and sometimes I've gone to their homes too.

All I can say is ... lol   I can't say ... I'm laughing too hard!  lol

I advertise in CL all the time, and now feel sorry for all the PSU college girls who pose for me, as I'm evidently, a total perv.

Sucks to be me...
