When photography becomes a job, of course, it would have a spike in difficulty.

But when it is just a hobby or for fun, then it is not difficult.

Yes, the article was talking about it in the context of it being a job; in particular, there was a focus on wedding photographers.

Well, as we have seen lately, a monkey can take an above average selfie.

Pretty good model too.

Even when it's a hobby or "for fun", it still can be difficult...

I have this to say about photography being difficult... It's probably easier than fractal art.

The learning curve for that particular kind of art is often staggering.  UltraFractal is more complicated than Photoshop.

I'd like to be a monkey and get paid to sit around eating bananas all day!  big_smile

Come around.  You can have all the bananas you can eat, but remember this; I am not picking up after you, even if you feel tempted to pick up your own feces and throw it at me!

I'm surprised that an attorney hasn't signed him as a client to protect his copyright and get the money from the photographer that owned the camera that published the photos the monkey took.

Selfie Monkey should be on more talk shows.

I'm surprised that Bravo hasn't given him and his family a reality show.

These days, how many photographers are getting paid.. And I think the monkey is getting better exposure than all those photographers giving work away for "great exposure"...

The monkey was a true artiste; taking the picture was its own reward.
