Microsoft = Microsucks!
You really are a piece of shit. anything that you touch, you manage to fuck it up. Hotmail has been fine until you put your hands on it. Now you block my email and I have no way to get into it. If any of you are using hotmail, i strongly recommend you to transfer all your contacts and get yahoo or gmail. what a FUCKED-UP company that is. >:[ Aug 29 14 03:34 pm Link my hotmail still works. Yahoo...grrr...those are my main accounts and they are making me hate them. Aug 29 14 03:36 pm Link They said someone has hacked my account. Told me to fill out a bunch of forms to recover/reset my account. Then they came back and told me that info I provided was not good enough to verify I am the rightful account owner. Now they told me to sign up for a new account. Aug 29 14 03:39 pm Link Chuckarelei wrote: I believe that happens with all e-mail providers. Aug 29 14 03:46 pm Link I have an alternate email with the hotmail account. And it still did not satisfy their drone customer service. Aug 29 14 03:49 pm Link Chuckarelei wrote: This happens to a friend of mine allll the time. Finally got him to sign up for gmail. Hotmail and yahoo are the worst! Aug 29 14 03:49 pm Link After my last seat for my Capture One Pro got eaten by an windows 8 upgrade I can never again see myself buying another PC. One round of that will justify any cost difference ever again. Aug 29 14 03:53 pm Link I hate to see anyone say something bad about Microsoft. Aug 29 14 04:06 pm Link Aug 29 14 04:07 pm Link Hotmail still exists? Given how easily they and Yahoo can get hacked in recent years, why? Gmail for the win. He will NOT use gmail. no GOOD reason why not, but he's always asking why his computers not working. not that he listens to me when i tell him because he fucking broke it. Aug 29 14 04:28 pm Link Then there is "the missing window bug" or invisible windows or whatever you call it. What went wrong with Microsoft's August updates? http://www.zdnet.com/what-went-wrong-wi … 000033089/ "It's been a long time since Microsoft had a Patch Tuesday this bad. By Friday they were conceding problems with several updates. Not only did they withdraw four updates, but they recommended that users uninstall one of them. Yesterday they reissued that update, but they also announced that it had its own set of new bugs, one of which can make windows inaccessible or invisible. Three of the four withdrawn updates are still withdrawn and two of those are also subject to the missing window bug. Two other updates, previously uninvolved with the August updates, also have this missing window bug." There is always the Linux option. More and more viable as China and Russia are switching over. Aug 29 14 04:40 pm Link I'm going to shake it up even more ... AOL still exists! I can't stand any "new" innovations on Microsoft Windows, as I was happy with my XP, then I got forced into Windows 7 ... and it's crashed on me. Not thrilled about it. I've been a stick in the mud ... I like things to remain the same ... well except for dial up! I got online with the AOL CD back in 2000 and have had [email protected] ever since. I also have bellaimages in Yahoo, gmail, hotmail, and many other email services I can't remember. AOL is and has been my email through thick and thin as unprofessional as it may seem. My Internet service is provided by Comcast. I'm happy with them. Any and all can SUCK at times! Aug 29 14 04:52 pm Link Right Poes wrote: Four years ago I bought a MacBook and I hated it. Windows 7 was so much more elegant and classy. No cheesy jumping and exploding OS X icons. I was disgusted so I gave the MacBook to my kids and bought a proper Windows 7 Sony laptop. Then Windows 8 came along and I bought a cheap netbook with Windows 8 to try it out. It was unusable. I hated the fucking menus popping up just because I happen to let the cursor touch the edge of the screen. I don't want touchscreen on a computer that has a keyboard and a mouse either. I don't want to touch my computer screen any more than I want to touch my glasses and getting finger grease on them you idiots. Been using it exclusively since 2000...never been hacked...the e-mail system is wonderful (no stupid boxes to check for deletions, etc.)...it does every thing at the same speed the other computers my son and wife have so I never understood what the big deal is to use all that new stuff. The spam detection is too aggressive and there's no way to configure it. A lot of my important email goes straight to the spam folder. Maybe I can rename it to 'Inbox.' I only set it up as a backup account anyway because my primary account has fairly limited storage space. I have a couple of secondary Hotmail accounts that have worked pretty good. Fortunately I'm grandfathered into those so I can use a regular email client and don't have to use the browser based application, unless I'm on someone else's computer. The more information you can include in the form, the better the chance you’ll have of regaining access to your account. We’ve included a few tips below to help you fill out the form as completely as possible. > Submit a new form Helpful tips for filling out another form: Answer as many questions as you can. Use the information you provided when you created the account, or last updated it. Submit the form from a computer you frequently use. You will be asked to list recently used email addresses and the subject lines from recent emails. Ask for help from family members, friends, or business contacts to confirm their email addresses and tell you the subject lines of the last three emails they sent you. Make sure to use the correct domain for your account, such as hotmail.com, live.com, or outlook.com. Keep in mind that your email address may be country specific. For example, if you created your account in Sweden, your domain would be “hotmail.co.se” rather than “hotmail.com”. Exchange crashed a lot, and is easily cracked. It was embarrassing to M$, but they could not have their mail running nicely on FreeBSD. All the people with half a brain fled the company. Microsoft buys Hotmail circa 1998 Microsoft - Free BSD They were actually forced to go back to FreeBSD to get Hotmail to stop crashing . I don't know what the state is today.
