I've been attempting to try them all, sometimes more than once, but there are so many. Sep 10 14 04:47 pm Link My friend from high school recently started working at whole foods and it's amazing how much training they receive. Maybe stop in there and ask? He recommends the sam Adams whateverthehell IPA they have out. Alas I can't drink beer and am not much help. (waiting for the person who will inevitably come in here saying sam Adams is piss beer lol) Sep 10 14 05:05 pm Link Found it! Sep 10 14 06:39 pm Link yea are you a fan of sam adams beer? their rebel ipa is pretty kick ass. it kicked my ass after i had like 2. i am in no way a light drinker but i am not use to the heavy ones so it has more of an effect. Sep 10 14 08:02 pm Link Come to New Mexico. Sep 10 14 09:50 pm Link Sep 11 14 08:16 am Link 1. find nearest microbrewery 2. order IPA 3. get a bottle opener -open beer 4. drink repeat 2-4 i don't like them all that much, but there are some I've enjoyed by using the steps above. Sep 11 14 12:29 pm Link There's probably 180 different IPA's on tap here, so I can't help ya. It's honestly just too many to pick from now. The top rated for some is Piny the Elder, Dogfishhead 90 120, Ruination. Sep 11 14 02:50 pm Link sdgillis wrote: my coworkers talk about Piny a bit. Sep 11 14 02:53 pm Link Stone has been rocking the IPA world lately, with their 'Enjoy a By' series taking the cake. It's a super-hoppy beer that basically looses it's flavor after aboyt 3 weeks in the bottle. Limited distribution. Sep 11 14 04:59 pm Link Check beer ratings sites Sep 11 14 08:10 pm Link you hipsters are killing everything that was holy and good about microbrews. i think the rise in popularity of ipa's was the doing of the big three, so that the uninformed would drink shit tons of it, and not even branch out into all the other truly great beer styles. once they get sick of all the hops, they'll go right back to bud/coors/miller lite. ipa's always were a niche--dare i say, aberrant--style. now you can't go into any place with more than five taps and not be surrounded by beer noobs claiming that beer A's ipa is the best ale ever made. plenty of places i know of have had to stop stocking otherwise great beers, because all these nudnicks demanding thirty taps of ipa's. when i saw that anchor has an ipa, i gave up. the war is over. meh.... proceed. Sep 11 14 09:33 pm Link Yes, Torpedo is an awesome IPA. Love that stuff. Sep 13 14 04:28 am Link Couple weeks ago a friend brought some 'Racer 5' over, ....best IPA I've ever had.
