July 10, 2011 9:23am I love the pictures that can tell or hint at some story. Here is an excellently exemplary case. Additionally there is an ingenious and inventive cropping-composition condensing the narrative elements to its most essential, avoiding thus unnecessary distraction. In any case the torn paper is a formally ingenious idea too, central to the narrative and by far the most focused part of the image not only on the part of the model´s gaze but on the part of the viewer too. The styling is sophisticated, calmly elegant and consistent to romantic theme of the narrative.The posing of the model-look at the hand holding the torn card- is naturally graceful.
February 11, 2011 9:59pm Wow you never cease to amaze me.....this is your strongest shot yet....Great job! Love the ease of it and the tones. Just wish the torn white paper was a little less distracting....perhaps darken it up a bit? This shot really does sing !!!!!
