February 01, 2006 2:38pm I think this is a great photo--truly fine art. The entire portfolio is amazing. Perfect lighting and composition. I agree that the model's figure is lovely--not strange at all. Is her name really Theda, or is an homage to Theda Bara?
December 28, 2005 5:18pm Not manipulated or painted. This is just the warm light cast by an incandescent lamp in the room where Theda and I were shooting. I've played with "fixing" the color balance in photoshop, but found I liked the warm feeling of the original version.
And, in my opinion, Theda has a very lovely figure.
