I am a member of Rebel Legion Mos Eisley Base, and Off The Page. (These are costuming groups)
I am also involved in forming an official Arizona chapter of Saber Guild
I have appeared as a Twi'lek in a Star Wars fan film: Showdown on Sriluur, its on YouTube. I did my own stunts, makeup, and costuming, and styled the lead actresses hair.
I am a licensed cosmetologist, face painter, and bubble performer (I can also provide bubble FX for shoots)
I view all photo shoot opportunities as an artistic collaboration and as such do not believe any one party is more deserving to be paid than another. 
Not only do I model at my shoots, but I do my own:
hair/wigs
MU/body art/special FX
props
wardrobe/costuming (my costumes however are NOT available to borrow or rent).
That's the work of 4 people!  I spend lots of $$$ buying materials.  I have already invested a great deal into the shoot before I even arrive.  If I want to hire you I will ask you your rates. If you want to shoot me, it better be TF. Telling me you want to shoot and then responding with your rates is tacky. I also charge for all hair/MU/body art/Bubble services.

I am mainly interested in shooting:
-with photographers that are interested in magazine submissions (which can mean waiting to share them online for months)

-cosplay, historical, sci-fi themes, and video

Photographers: please understand that I rarely can do last minute shoots, I need confirmed appointments and at least a month to plan and put things together for both our benefit. I am a full time student at the University of Arizona getting a BA in Anthropology/Theater, and I work at the Arizona State Museum. I am extremely busy even on the weekends.
