Thanks for visiting my port!

I recently moved to LA early January 2010

For the last five years I have worked in state government, politics, and elections.  I am also a political columnist for a city paper.

So why on earth did I drop everything and move to L.A.?

I am moved primarily because I want to write for television.  My top goal is co-creating my own comedic television sitcom.
I'm on Model Mayhem because I thought it would be fun to model at the same time.

The more I am learning about the writing industry, the more I learn that writing, along with modeling, acting and fashion, etc.  all fall under a larger umbrella called the "entertainment" industry.  I'm hoping modeling will give me a broader, well rounded resume/portfolio when I begin to pitch my ideas to prospects.  I'm also hoping that I can network and meet new people.

In terms of actual modeling, I have limited experience.  I'm interested in print modeling/advertising and fitness modeling. 
I'm currently in tip top shape at 10% body comp.
