What started out as a mere means to capture every scenic place he's been to, Kerwin was in a far more serious relationship with photography than he ever realized. It has been his creative outlet from being a software engineer/programmer/consultant. But it was only in May 2007 that he acquired a dSLR, which has always been blamed on his friend who lent him her camera that he really began to explore the depths of photography. With endless possibilities and settings to play around, he was determined to make the most out of it.

Nature, landscape and night/low light were his first alley and after a year he's slowly transitioning to portraiture. But his love with nature and its beauty will always be there no matter what. To support his passion, he took up a couple of workshops and joined photo clubs.

Photography is his new passion. It can be visibly seen from his photos and the amount of time and the level of skill he uses are evident on his shots. Simply put, he takes pride in his work.

How about the end of this journey? Nah, far from sight. It is an art and as it evolves, the learning process continues. He knows that there's more to learn and he's willing to take every road it leads him.
