Born and raised in San Antonio,Texas. Ricardo has dedicated his life to studying Art and Fashion. He has experimented with Fine Art and Fashion Design in Texas and studies Fashion Design at the Pratt Institute School of Art and Design in New York. His 20 year career as a makeup artist began in Europe and landed him in national positions in the U.S. with M.A.C. Cosmetics / National Trainer, Versace Profumi / Director of Training-National Makeup Artist, Paula Dorf Cosmetics / Account Development. Along the way, Ricardo freelanced with numerous photographers on set, worked with some of the most talented and creative art directors in the country and has participated in producing work for Neiman Marcus, JC Penney’s and Dillards and for great designers such as Donatella Versace.


He would begin to infused his vast experience in the fashion field with his new photographic work. Ricardo now collaborates with clients all over the country. He describes his work as emotional, deeply passionate and dynamic-flirting with movement and laced with stories.


Ricardo’s photos have been featured in Brilliant Magazine as well as numerous beauty campaigns for Julian Gold, Product and Nanette Laporand, Niche campaigns and Jill Reno.


Ricardo dedicates his passion for art and fashion to his mother, his most influential and revered teacher.
