Silver Studio Retouch is almost entirely retouching. We are constantly improving our methods and use industry standard software. We mostly work on faces and bodies. While we do some background removal it is not our focus and is typically not the focus of the images.

Few things to keep in mind before contacting us:
-We like to have at minimum 10 MP images (more makes the job a lot quicker and easier to process)
-Tiff file format is preferred as it has no compression on the image size or quality. We realize that most Tiff images cannot be e-mailed but there are many options we can use to get the files back forth. SmugMug, WeTransfer, Google Drive, Dropbox are a few that we use that support larger files.
-When shooting a picture having a grey card/white balance card shot is not necessary but helps.
-We do not have a 'one-price-fits-all'. Why not? Well some images can take literally hours of retouching and if is quoted for $5.00 an image we can't simply put in the time of retouching for the image. This is why we quote on a 'per-image' basis. Typically prices are indeed $5.00 - $60.00 per image. Volume discounts available.

FAQ's:

Q: Do you do TF/TFP/Free work?
A: Yes we do 'some', but the majority of our work is paid. It really depends on the project and if it will be good for our portfolio. Otherwise we don't openly offer it.

Q: Do you use filters? Blur images?
A: No to filters unless it's a style being asked for. No to blurring images and in fact typically we sharpen the image.

Q: What file formats do you accept?
A: Tiff, JPG, PNG, BMP, PSD, RAW Format from camera, DNG, and several other less known ones. We prefer Tiff, PSD, RAW, and DNG.
