Fredericks Photography and Modeling Studios offer two professionally equipped private studios with a large selection of props, backdrops and state of the art studio lighting.
We also offer a large selection of competitively priced portfolio and picture packages, comp card creations, and over 30 years of photographic experience.
Our studio and field experience includes - glamour, fashion, fine art, figure study, portrait, and weddings.

We also rent studio time by the hour for photographers that need to do the occasional studio shoot, without the large investment of opening up a studio and suffering the high operating cost associated with studio ownership. 

Working with new models to help build their first portfolio has always been our pleasure! We offer suggestive assistance in all aspects of modeling, such as - correct posing, fashion choices, makeup, hairstyles, and portfolio building.

We also have a makeup artist on staff full time and work with many others that we keep on call and represent.

Fredericks also represents many professional models that are available for studio shoots. We maintain current pictures of the models and their stats that can be reviewed upon request. This free service assures a good match between photographer and model, without the unnecessary hassles associated with searching for models. No misrepresentations! We do the footwork for you.

Fredericks is an air conditioned 4000 square foot facility with 2 fully equipped private studios, 2 dressing/makeup rooms, 2 washrooms and a shower, a large and comfortable reception/waiting area for proof viewing, and located in downtown Plano Illinois on Main street in the beautiful old town district that is a trip through history, and offers some of the best dining around. Some of our best location shoots were done just outside of our own studios front door!

We work in both film and pro digital, and can supply the pictures in the following formats – film negatives, compact disk, prints, or all three formats. We also can covert the shoots done in film to a digital image, to accommodate the growing demand for both digital enhancement and also web site development.

Fredericks sponsors monthly studio modeling photography workshops. Our workshops primary focus is - working closely with photographers in a seminar type of environment offering lite training on studio lighting and working with models. We will have professional models attending all of the workshops and all participants will perform a series of shoots working with the models. A great way for the novices to start their own portfolio! The workshops are intended for both the amateur as well as the seasoned photographer. A camera with either a hot shoe or sink connection for the use of the studios lighting is necessary. Please call in advance for class cost, additional details, and to sign up for the workshops, because our classes are limited and often fill quickly. NOTE: - winter workshop schedules for 2006 will be posted in December. The first workshop of the season will be held in January 2006.
