Photography is a painting painted by the sun.

I fell in love with photography as a teen, when my dad gifted me an old Leica rangefinder camera. The first moment I pressed the shutter and created my first photograph I began to see the world in a different light. Years of study, devotion and practice has brought me to where I invests my talent and skill into creating a masterpiece of fine art, rather than merely shooting a photo.

I strive not just to take a picture but to make a picture. I find beauty in the most mundane of scenes, I am fascinated by the light and shadow, by contrast and color, mood and expression, geometrical perspective and composition.

My specialty is photographing people and I seek to capture the emotion, trait and character at the precise moment of full expression.
