At a very young age, I always loved to play with people’s hair and makeup as a way to express myself creatively. This habit never passed as I grew up and instead it intensified. I was always able to pick any picture in a magazine and duplicate the hair and makeup in the look and this talent brought many of my close friends and family to me to get their hair and makeup done. I helped them get ready for some of their most important moments in their lives, from their weddings to a night out with friends. I was soon invited to assist as a makeup artist at the Asian Bridal Show in Birmingham, England. Once I returned back to Calgary I worked at Holt Renfrew as the Nars Counter Manager while quickly establishing myself as a freelance makeup artist, specializing in ethnic bridal makeup. I currently work as a freelance makeup artist while pursuing a Master’s in Social Work
