I am a Documentary Photographer from Birmingham, England.

When I say a Documentary Photographer I mean that is literally what I do. I document and record everything around me. I find narrative and detail in the most insignificant of things. I use my documentary skills in all aspects of photography and that’s what makes it exciting.

I like to think that I’ve been involved in some really cool projects over the years. Probably the first major project was ‘Take Only Photographs‘. Which was a joint project with Dale O’Keeffe who shot the film which documented my journey and documentation through Birmingham’s Iconic Birmingham Battery.

After that I took part in some truly amazing projects like ‘OneWorldOnePhoto‘ and ‘Perspectives‘ which gave me the chance to work with a whole host of amazing artists and photographers.

Most recently in 2010 I started the process of creating a feature film called ‘Irish Connection‘ which took until June 2011 to complete. The process of creating a feature length documentary film was surreal. The film itself wasn’t the soul purpose. From it I created a vast body of work documenting Ireland as I saw it.
