I am an artist/photographer/designer who has moved to Slidell, Louisiana recently from Chicago. Photography is my passion and I am hoping to meet models who have a passion for what they do and want to expand their portfolio. I am currently looking into doing some photoshoots starting this month, October 2010 until I get the portfolio that I want. The look that I need will be high fashion type models who are at least 5'8" and up. This is going to be the beginning of some beautiful work because I have many creative ideas. If there are any models that have an innovative look/style, I would love to include you in the building of an amazing portfolio for you and for myself.  My style is defined by harsh external lighting sources that I typically use for a shoot. An Artist Statement:

INSIGHT
Beauty is inherent in the world, yet completely dependent upon the perspective from which the world is viewed. As the saying goes, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”  Those things that are truly visionary and profound experiences, sights and sound, are those that grab on a personal level requiring an eye that is open to and appreciative of those everyday things that make life worthwhile.  Individuality is artistry, and to me artistry is the ability to see beauty in the unexpected.

PERSPECTIVE/VISION
Individual experiences and thought processes combined influence my eye as a photographer who is developing my sense of what is truly art as well as what is visually pleasing.  Colors, (or lack of) subjects, and random ideas reflect not only my point of view as a person and artist, but my opinions, thoughts, dreams, and beliefs. Basically my art is a reflection of ME.

PASSION
What I strive to represent as an artist are elements from the past (vintage treasures) that reveal the values and aesthetics of bygone eras. These things feed my need for inspiration of everything around me without the political correctness of modern conveniences. Creating beauty out of the ordinary with an influence from music and fashion is what my photos are about.

PROCESS
