Our family had always had an interest in photography.  Our father was an advanced photographer, and from very young ages we all had cameras in our hands and a love for shooting and developing images.

With the introduction of digital photography and a general love for computers, it was only natural that I had been drawn to Photoshop.

I have been editing and retouching photos for over ten years.  To improve my skills, I started taking local seminars and using various tutorials online.  This led to a trial and error period where I honed my skills, and started to develop my own style.  When I felt my skills were at a professional level I started collaborating with my brother Christopher Polk and Jeff Kravitz, as well as other local photographers to improve upon their work and get them the desired look they were shooting for.
