Marie Hopkins born and raised in Harlem, New York growing up as a child Marie always had a passion for modeling. Marie first took interest in modeling when she saw her cousin pursuing his modeling career. Marie was determined to pursue her career as a model so she brought it to her aunt’s attention. At first her aunt didn't want her to lead her into that direction because she felt that's a career that's not guarantee. She wanted her to focus more on her academics and her future. A couple months later she realized how passionate Marie was about modeling. Marie was always in the mirror, always dressing up in her Aunts clothes, playing in make up and taking pictures. It was unusual for her aunt to see a child so young into fashion. At that point she decided to help Marie succeed in her dream as a model.  Thanks to her aunt Marie is at the stage now where there is no holding her back. At the age of 15 Marie started performing in fashion shows, people started to notice Marie because of her walk. They used to come up to her all the time and tell her she had a one of a kind walk. A few years later Marie was introduced to an upcoming designer name chamier. This is when things really got started for Marie. She started doing fashion shows consistently. This helped Marie branch out and meet new people in her field of interest. She did this one show in Brooklyn that really caught the attention of others. She was asked to be in videos, movies, host shows, and model for other upcoming designers. One designer that just couldn't let her walk away was a man name Jamal who is the designer for the M clothing line.  Now Marie has her options open and is still continuing to developing her self as a model.
