I am a freelance photographer and have been working in the creative industry for many years, as an artist and an interior designer. Based in Lytham St Annes Near Blackpool, Lancashire.

I first started taking photographs, other than 'happy snaps', when I left school and studied Graphic Design.
Initially my interest in photography was to use it as another medium within my artwork but over time I realised that photography was an art form in its own right.

With the advent of digital photography, in the 90's, I was elated and signed up for professional digital photography courses at Cardiff Ffotogallery and then on to Glasgow Metropolitan College, where I gained full professional qualifications in digital imagery and professional photography. I am currently working towards an Art History Degree.

I believe that there are significant happenings, in every single persons life, that beg to be captured, moments in time to be cherished.
All too quickly the powerful tide of time moves on changing the way things look and overpowering the way we feel.

A split second captured, is so much more than an image. The essence of the moment, suspended and held, lives on, shaping and becoming part of our future - so much more than just a photograph.

I love the excitement of new projects, challenges that make me think and above all people. I like to work in a relaxed creative manor and often work to tight deadlines.
