Born in El Salvador.  I'm currently living and working in New York.  Since very young I remember being fascinated by the power of cameras, and by being able to capture my own perspective of life and the world. 

Over the past years I have spent my time documenting life around me; friends, family, life in NYC, travel experiences etc.  I am intrigued by the phenomenon of life itself and the beauty of the world that surrounds us.  Everyday life puts on a spectacle before our eyes, providing and infinite amount of unique moments that are pictures waiting to happen.

In particular I like photographing people, creating spontaneous portraits of strangers and friends alike that capture the true essence of that one moment.  What catches my eye is uniqueness.  I am constantly looking for people with a unique style, personality, attitude, etc.  I seek to capture these moments in a way that is totally natural, organic and full of emotion.  I like to make pictures that create a personal connection between subject and viewer.

For the past year I have also been working in different film projects, primarily related with cinematography.

In the end, no matter what the medium is, either photography or film, I want to capture the here and now.  I want to create visual stories that will remind us of how amazing life is, and let future generations remembers the past in a positive way.  The camera is my way of understanding the world and I wish to share this with everyone I can.
