I was slated to begin my own photography company last summer when I was in a near fatal car accident. I was technically declared dead 3 times to my horrified family but I survived. My family was also told do to my injuries a broken neck in 5 places my broken spine in 14 places and both feet and a fractured skull that the best case scenario would be for me to be a paralyzed blind vegetable. Lets be thankful that doctors' are not always right! Needless to say I'm picking up the pieces and beginning in October what I set out to do last year. I have a lot of shoots with mostly friends planned to expand both of our portfolios but I'm interested in all sorts of photography and art and I love bouncing ideas off each other and then coming up with fully formed ideas. So do not be afraid to introduce an idea that people may find shocking or unappealing because I garuntee it will not shock me. By the same token if all you want to do is basic portraiture for your portfolio by all means introduce yourself. Ultimately i'd like to foster a sense of collaboration and art making.
