About Me

I am an award winning oil portrait painter with thirty-five years of professional experience as an artist and educator. My paintings are included in the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery at the Smithsonian Institution and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and my portraits hang in both private and corporate collections around the world. I teach at the School of Visual Arts in New York City in addition to conducting private portrait and figure painting workshops on line. I am always looking for models to use in my own work and for my classes.
