I have always loved to be creative and to color and paint. Even as a child I got in trouble at a very young age for always getting into my mothers makeup. Although I was restricted from wearing makeup until I was sixteen years old, it was still an obsession for me. I used to read all the fashion magazines for tips about style and makeup application, but I mostly looked at the actual pictures because I love the different shapes of faces and especially the eyes. Also, from my teenage years and through adulthood, I have always gotten compliments on how well I do my own make up and dress as well as what I do for others, and of course was always asked why I wasn’t involved in fashion or makeup artistry professionally. Yet I still choose to go to school for Business instead. After getting my degree, I finally decided to pursue makeup artistry as a career.
My resume includes several proms, plays and photo shoots, I trained under Eve Jade at the Makeup Loft in Atlanta www.makeuploftonline.com and have recently done a fashion show for Imajin Fashions Magazine Launch and Indashio’s Atlanta Fashion show in May 09’. I specialize in beauty, fashion, stage and bridal makeup.
Everyone’s face has unique features and natural beauty, that I believe it is my calling to use my creativity to enhance. The face is like a canvas to me and all the different cosmetics are my paint. I love mixing and matching colors to create a final beautiful masterpiece.
