I just got the latest issue of Photography Monthly here in the UK and noticed this site being mentioned in one of the portfolios. I've been into photography for quite some years, started around 2002 when I got my first serious camera - a Minolta Dynax 5 SLR. I loved going out and taking photos.

Then after a few years I got too busy so didn't have time to put enough time into photography. Back in 2006 I bought my first DSLR, a Nikon D40 which I had for 2 years and then in the summer of 2008 I bought my current camera, the Canon 40D. I fell in love with photography.

I mainly do Landscapes and Macro work but I've always wanted to try some portraits of people. What I've always struggled with was to find decent models/people who wouldn't mind having their photos taken. I'm not confident enough to approach people in the street. I've since acquired a decent portrait kit consisting of a 50mm 1.8 lens, I also like using the tamron 90mm 2.8 macro lens for this kind of work. Now all I need is to find people who wouldn't mind posing for a photo. I don't have all the studio kit required to shoot indoors, but outdoors I would be fine with what I have.

So, basically, if anyone is up for it, please get in touch. I'll happily get back to you and we can take it from there...
