David Dunning is an award winning British photographer, who has been living in Jaipur, India, since 2004. David has gained a wealth of knowledge and insight into Jaipur culture, locations and people, giving him experiences beyond the casual visitor’s eye and lens.

He has a very distinctive style, you will often find David lying on his back trying to view things from a different perspective. Strong structural form and compositions feature heavily in his work, reflecting his background as a 3D designer. Teaching himself black and white photography at the age of seventeen, using a manual Nikon and avidly processing films and prints in his father’s tiny darkroom. He has passion and energy in his work and is not afraid to challenge the theoretical constraints of what an image is supposed to be.
