Sunny Bak is best known for capturing the essence of her subjects whether she's shooting celebrities, the latest rock bands or magazine covers. As a teenager, she created her earliest images outside theaters on Broadway amongst the paparazzi. While others were hoping to catch a photo op outside New York's famed Studio 54, Sunny was inside partying with her subjects.
Over the years, Sunny has shot a multitude of stars ranging from Madonna to Keanu Reeves. It's probable you've seen her work on record albums ( Beastie Boys, Slayer, Fem 2 Fem, Danzig, Engelbert Humperdink, Phillip Saisse, 10K Maniacs and the Village People) and in magazines (Newsweek, Woman's World, First, People, Time, Cosmopolitan, British Elle,Details Magazine.)
