My work most frequents fashion and photojournalistic genres, and it is always my nature to push the boundaries of each, as I intrinsically resist any personal or societal limitations surrounding art making. I believe a fashion-influenced image can reveal a compelling truth just as a documentary photograph can read with an editorial elegance. Additionally, I often allow a certain level of theatricality to infiltrate my work, ensuing a heightened sense of drama in my photographs.

It is consistently my goal to create a strikingly emotive image—one that leaps off the page and grounds itself into the viewer’s memory. I look to capture a vacant stare, an eerie confidence, an unanticipated sense of motion—anything to stop the viewer and make him or her further engage with the image.
