Serious amateur wants to get into the photography industry. Taking photo of people is much harder than scenery. You need to convey your idea and what you want to achieve with the people in order to get the result you want. Being able to work with a model and fellow photography to exchange idea, technique, experience is very important. I believe this site can provide the means to broaden my reach to fellow photographer and model or other community which can help me to achieve my goal. Through communication and studying other works can help one to develop one's style. There is mutual benefit in joining and participating in site like this one.
I am an IT Consultant, so working with computer and computer software are second nature to me. Post processing on computer has rapidly replace darkroom work. Being able to apply my knowledge in computer on my passion in photography is great. And I hope that I can combine both and make it into my new goal. This site could help me to reach out to the photography industry.
