My name is Lia, and I was born on March 31, 1989 in Cairo, Egypt (I am full blooded Egyptian). I am a Theater Arts Major, and I minor in history and creative writing. My goal is to get a BA in Theater Arts. As a high school student, I took four years of musical theater, and covered the following forms of dance: tap, jazz, ballet and swing. I have also taken hip hop on the side lines. I am currently in the process of looking for belly dancing lessons.

What I want from model mayhem is to get jobs as a model. I'm not talking the big top, since I fully understand that that takes commitment and hard work of an insane level. But a few jobs here and there would be wonderful. I prefer to do cosplay, swimsuit, lingerie and promotional modeling. I am also interested in doing some pinup, parts, body art and underwater modeling.

I also have taken voice acting lessons from Terry McGovern, an American voice actor.


Before accepting any gigs, I would also like to take this time to lay down a few conditions. They are pretty reasonable and they are for safety:

1) This one really isn't a safety condition, it is more of personal preference. I prefer not to do nude shots. It's not that I do not appreciate the art form of this, and I find many nude shots to be very beautiful. I just personally don't want to do it.

But I am not afraid to show some skin.

2) I live 20 minutes away from San Francisco, so I would prefer to do photoshoots in the city. I might be willing to go a bit farther, but I will never give a flat out yes to people who offer photoshoots outside of S.F. What I will do is think about it, try to plan for it, and then get back to the person.

3) This one is non-negotiable. When and if I show up for a shoot, it needs to be in a public place, and I will have an escort with me. It could be a parent, or it could be a friend, but most likely will be a friend.
