I was born in Long Island NY in the summer of 1977. Being one of six kids, I'd often get pushed to the back where I learned how to be patient and let things develop. Growing up in a typical Italian family, religion and the New York Yankees were often the main topics of conversation. Also, being raised in New York gave me the chance to be exposed to all types of lifestyles and cultures.

Having been raised catholic, my parents would take us to church several times a week for either mass, confession, or bible school which started my obsession of crosses. Growing up, I attended many funerals of relatives and friends. I attended the funeral of a very close friend when I was young which provoked my interest in the darker side and my fascination and curiosities of fetishes, grave yards, and gothic themes.
I've always thought that my photography was a reflection of me and my life. My loves, fears, desires, fantasies, curiosities, and beliefs are all represented some way in my artwork. One of my beliefs is that in all of us there lives an animalistic soul that I try to capture a glimpse of- from someone playing in the daisies like a cat to someone who's dominating their submissive as the alpha male and female wolves do.
