_Hey,

My name is Mekdi Afework. I am 23 years old and I'm a very passionate young model. I am just brushing the surface of the modeling business and my goal is to make it to America's Next Top Model. I have yet to get in some extreme photoshoots, most of my pictures were done with local photographers that wanted to help me out. I'd like to have a bigger broad selection of photos, and different looks including.. formal, sporty, classical, exotic backgrounds, to anything I can get my hands on. I am very motivated and I have a boyfriend that helps me with my modeling as well. We want to do couple shots if any photographers are interested. Julian JQ Washington who's been into Sean John models for a while.

My home town is Ethiopia. I take pride in myself and the fact that I'm from Africa. The continent is beautiful and I'd like to be among the few africian female models in the modeling field. I'd LOVE to someday shoot with cool exotic animals of Africa sometime.

I am enrolled in college and modeling is just a fun thing to do on the side. If I could do this as a job then I would. In the meantime I go to school and I'm aiming for my nursing degree. I want to work with children as well! I'm originally from Kansas in the states before moving to the Phildelphia area, so I have family to travel and take photoshoots incase they are near that area.
