Hi im Melanie im currently studying theatrical and media make up at Leeds city college. In my studies i have produced work for the following catagories: Theatrical, Media Black white PHotography, Photographic, Face and body paint, Bridal, Day Evening, SFX, Scarring, cuts, bruises etc. And also catwalk.
I have participated in fashion shows such as Leeds Fashion Show 2009 and No Frills fashion show Huddersfield. I have also had work experience doing face painting events at HollyWood Bowl in Kirkstall Leeds, I currently have a place in the nationals after coming 3rd place in the UK trainee area competition at Blackpool Winter Gardens. I have worked with local photographers on portfolio work and am an enthusiastic adventurous person who always like to try new things and keep improving myself. I currently work for Benefit cosmetics and have done various charity work through this providing my services for photoshoots and recently i havee also participated in an evening event, in which i planned and produced a class for local school children in basic make up techniques which also got press coverage in the local paper with a two page spread and quotes and work from me.
