The At Risk Model Movement Presents: ASCEND
Featuring The Future Stars of Chicago Runway
Purpose:
* To introduce Chicago’s next crop of runway superstars
* To raise $850 to legally incorporate the At Risk Movement as a Not-For-Profit Organization
* To formally introduce the At Risk Model Movement and the Raise The Bar Programs to the public
* To test up and coming fresh face models in consideration for paid Spring and Fall 2012 shows
Models:
* Looking for a diverse group of 35 male and females age 11 to 19
* All heights welcome
* Must have a GREAT attitude and get along well with others
* Must be willing to work HARD to learn the Beau Ideal runway walk in just 3 rehearsals
* Must READ, FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS, and take CONSTRUCTIVE criticism well
Mandatory Requirements:
* Model will be required to attend the initial rehearsal and casting, the second rehearsal, and the day-of-show run-through
* Models will have a mandatory requirement to sell a minimum of 6 tickets
Scenes:
* There will be 10 scenes.
* Seven will be styled by local designers (designers will select which models they want to show their garments)
* Three will be styled by the models themselves.
Tickets:
* $10 in advance
* $15 at the door
Ticket Sales and Potential Prizes:
* As previously stated, models will have a mandatory requirement to sell a minimum of 6 tickets
* Each model will receive 6 tickets
* Each ticket will have a photo and the name of the model who is selling the ticket on it
* If we reach our goal of selling 200 tickets, the following will happen:
- For every ticket sold, the model will a chance to win a $100 prize or a $50 prize (i.e. if a model sells 6 tickets they have 6 chances to win, if they sell 10 tickets they have 10 chances to win)
- Every ticket received that night will go into a prize box and the two winners will selected and given their cash prize
Hair and Make Up:
* Our goal is to get 6 MUA’s and 6 Hairstylists to volunteer their time and services

Casting Date: Saturday November 12 (Location to be determined)
Rehearsal Date: Saturday November 26 (Location to be determined)
Show Dates: Saturday December 10 (Tentative)
Day of Show Info:
Call time: 2:00 PM - Models who are not on time will be cut from the show
Run Through: 2:30 PM
Hair/Makeup/Set up: 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Designer Arrival: 5:30 PM
Doors open: 7:15 PM
Show Time: 8:00 PM SHARP
Post Show Reception: 9:30 PM
Instructions: Water will be provided. Models are NOT to eat heavy meals prior to the show. Models are encouraged to eat a good breakfast and bring fruits
