I'm Jennifer Tanko, an NYC-based makeup artist. . I worked with MAC Cosmetics as a makeup artist for four years in Baltimore and took makeup effects classes through Towson University.

I'm professional, personable and fun to work with and I seek to create an empowering makeup experience that's ALL about my client! I'm creative, enjoy thinking outside of the box and love working as part of a team.

I can help with weddings, proms, special events, photoshoots, drag king and queen transformations, fashion shows, makeup for trans women, special effects, gore, fantasy and anything else you can think up. Bringing elements of teaching to my makeovers is something I value, but I also offer full-out lessons so I can share my passion.

I am committed to staying up-to-date with fashion and makeup trends and I like challenging myself. However, I can also help everyday men and women translate a fashion-forward look into something wearable. I am also educated in classical and period-inspired fashion and makeup as well as effects makeup.

About 95% of my kit is MAC, but I also use brands like NARS, Makeup Forever, Urban Decay, Ben Nye, eEyelashes and Benefit. I'm constantly watching makeup tutorials and reading beauty blogs and consider myself something of an expert on hot beauty products.
