INTRO:
The projects that we give ourselves define us. I have chosen to be a good father and husband. I have chosen to work with my hands and be a perpetual student. I am now committing myself to creating art that expresses my beliefs on human nature. I know my critical theory on art, my philosophy background and my knowledge about photography will allow me to create quality art. I would love to work with many people of all skill levels and different areas of expertise to achieve my visions and to benefit everyone involved.
ABOUT ME:
I have been a amateur photographer for 4 years and I work with medium and large format film cameras. I love the print and that is why I don't have many digital files of my prints or negatives. This will change soon. I have invested in fine and unusual equipment that can express my ideas. I really want to be a well known photographer that can always bring something new and beneficial to the art world. I need good people around me to achieve this goal.
WHY I AM HERE:
Hopefully this site will allow me to contact models, mua, wardrobe and other photographers interested in pooling resources. The kind of models I am really interested in would be male or female dancers that are capable of acting. Please be aware that film costs a lot and models with little experience will have to be screened. I need to make sure that a shoot will go well; a model needs to be able listen, follow orders, know their bodies relationship to the camera and really have the capacity get what the shoot is about. A smooth shoot makes everyone happy.
My Style:
Shoots will consist of high fashion models engaged in social happenings. A mash-up of high fashion models, street photography and conceptual art. I would like to work with two to four models at a time per shoot. Looking good and being interesting is of utmost importance. But most of all I really look forward to having some good shoots.
