Wearable Art
Wearable Art is not a new concept; it has existed throughout time. It is one of a kind fashion design. It is the Haute Couture. It is the forefront of what onlookers who have earnings interest will take and modify into a more marketable product for the masses. Wearable Art goes beyond the sewing machine and can be played up with the notions of unexplored &/or re-explored body adornment and presentation. Wearable Art is basically architecture for the body. Wearable Art takes many forms worldwide. Some major markets for Wearable Art include: masquerade balls, Mardi Gras, theatre, Vegas stages, Japan - (known as âcosplayâ costume-role-playing) and Nelson New Zealand where the largest Wearable Art show & competition exists. Wearable Art includes host crewmembers to pull off a successful event or documentation process. This would include hair and make-up, lighting, sound, visuals, behind the scene crews, etc. to assist in making the events possible. ~ Holliby.
