Age of Intimacy

Age of Intimacy is the brain child of Jess Green, who hopes one day to take her creation global. Green is a young Designer/Stylist who graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Design (Fashion) from the Whitehouse Institute of Design. She is currently working on a unique Lingerie + Couture label that SHE HOPES TO LAUNCH SOON.

Gathering and collecting images, stories, thoughts and colours is what young designer Jess Green does when she is creating a new collection. Just like a bower bird she brings together wonderful and unusual pieces that tell a story. She is inspired by the whimsical and magical. When researching for her collection ‘Away with the Faeries - Age of Enchantment and Myth-Making’ Green was intrigued by the Elizabethans fascination with faeries.
As a designer Green likes to create a story first which she then builds her collection around. This faery realm was first conceived when visiting a friend’s property in outback NSW on the Darling River. The river and the surrounding bush is where the story came to life and inspired the selection of colours for the collection - the burnt orange of the soil to the ghostly purple grey of the timeless gum trees.
