Lucas Stamates was raised in Cincinnati, OH. He has a BFA (photography) from Northern Kentucky University, where he recently exhibited his Senior Show in the Main Gallery. He has also had a video installation projected on campus buildings. He has exhibited locally at Ivy Hills Country Club in Cincinnati Ohio and at Clintonville Outfitters in Columbus, Ohio. In 2008 he interned with Olympus Camera and photographed the ATP Championship Tennis tournament in Mason Ohio. From 2008 to 2009 he worked with Cincinnati wedding photographers both in assisting and as second camera. In the summer of 2007 he was given the opportunity to work with local fashion designers and be the lead photographer for the runways. He currently works as lead photographer for local fashion shows, and fashion work for local hair salons and Cosmo Modeling Agency.
