I graduated from the University of South Dakota in 2008. The main reason I got into photography was I got free tickets to show. Linkin Park, Keith Urban, etc. This was a huge thing for a struggling college kid. I could get a loaner camera from the school so there was really no cost. After my pictures appeared with credits in the paper people began asking me to take their picture. Beautiful girls who wanted to be models. Poor college students who couldn't afford a big name wedding photographer. While some of my earlier work leaves me with chills when I look at it now, I caught the bug.

Life's short. Take pictures as you make memories. When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence. Photography is more than a medium for factual communication of ideas. It is a creative art. Saturate yourself with your subject and the camera will all but take you by the hand.
