My name is Douglas Lamore– I am a filmmaker (writer and director) and photographer.

While my focus is making films– my passion for photography is close in competition.

My passion to create is immense, and I am looking to expand my portfolio and delve deeper into photography to improve and challenge my aesthetic style for my films– to bring my imagery to the next level in as many ways as possible.

I have a BFA from Cal Arts (2004) in Animation and Film/Video. I am a prolific hobbyist photographer and as an independent filmmaker have shot over a dozen short films and a host of video commercial ads which have been broadcast regionally– as well as being a promo editor for a major studio since 2007.

I have studied figure drawing since middle school and have been attracted to art as long as I can remember.
