About Me

I am no stranger to the beauty industry in general. Being behind a camera seems natural to me and I have learned so much within the past year. Anyway, I'm hoping to network with photographers, models and MUA and others who want to work with my body type. You can call me Plus Sized, Curvy Model, Full Figured Model, what ever, makes no difference to me:) I think in enjoy the phrase "full figured" because this is what I am and I love my curves! email me at [email protected]

The city of Atlanta has become an epicenter of talent and creativity. Both of which were featured at the 1st Annual Be Natural Hair and Facial Show, which took place on April 9, 2011 at the Riverdale Convention Center. The event was a spectacular showcase of models, entertainers, and vendors all coming together to educate on current trends in natural beauty products and techniques.

The dynamic Martina Starks hosted the elaborate event, kicking things off with a “Facial Showcase”. This highlighted the innovative creativity of event sponsor, Bella, of Bella’s Earth Natural Products. Models dressed as goddesses of ancient Rome paraded the runway; each representing a different type of facial mask. The spectacle was accompanied by the narration of Veronica Brown of WIGO AM1570 The Light.

The event then switched gears to bring attention to the work being done to prevent and treat autism with the help of event sponsor Autism Speaks. Be Natural took the occasion to present a Plaque of Achievement to Sterling Graham. Sterling is one of the many children living with autism. He was honored for his achievements as a three time martial arts state champion and also for overcoming the odds against autism.

A portion of the proceeds from the event were donated to support the work of Autism Speaks. Some recent studies have shown a possible correlation between autism and the use of products containing toxic ingredients. The Be Natural Hair and Facial Show was an appropriate platform to raise awareness of autism and also to raise awareness of natural alternatives to toxic beauty products.

The event continued with entertainment from reggae sensation Mr. Yawdi and traditional African performers of Giwayen Mata. The much anticipated "Be Natural Hair Show" was part of the event’s grand finale. Models displayed the latest in natural hairstyles by local stylists in a high energy runway performance.

The 1st Annual Be Natural Hair and Facial Show offered something for everyone that attended; shopping, entertainment, and beauty. The buzz of energy from the event left the crowd eagerly anticipating next year’s event. For more information on Be Natural events call 678-489-2966 or visit www.BellaEarthNatural.com .
