This Production Design graduate from university in the Philippines trained at the Center for Aesthetic Studies, the country's best cosmetology school early in 2005.

Since then Carmen has worked for the European franchise, Marionnaud as Managing Makeup Artist for international brands like MAC, Makeup Forever, Christian Dior, Yves Saint Lauren, Lancome, Estee Lauder, Clinique, Christian Breton, Becca, Lise Watier and Black Up.

In 2008 she set out as freelance makeup artist working on the country's top glossies such as Preview Magazine, Meg Magazine, Wedding Belle; print advertisements for Nokia; television commercials for Tide; music videos for local bands Bamboo, Parokya ni Edgar and pop performers Gian Magdangal and Sam Concepcion; theater productions for Manila's run of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, RENT, and Hairspray; weddings and special occasions which honed her skills at beauty makeup.

She has been featured in Preview Magazine, The Philippine Star, and ClicktheCity.com called one of the country's best in the industry.

Taking her passion for the craft a step further, she trained at Cinema Makeup School in Los Angeles, specializing in beauty, high fashion, character and prosthetics under the industry's best: Gayla Basehart, Mireille Bertrand, Nelly Recchia, Kayla Berry, Leonard Engleman, Steve Costanza, and Kevin Brennan honing her skills to international standard.

She takes pride in working with Manny Pacquiao, world renowned boxer; Dante Mendoza, an independent director winner at Cannes and Apl de Ap of the Black Eyed Peas, aspiring word wide recognition.
