Craig Cook is a graduate of Brooks Institute of Photographic Sciences in Santa Barbara California, USA. He continued at Brooks Institute for his postgraduate studies. He also studied a year at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in the photographic sciences department.

Mr. Cook has a highly technical background working with NASA Aims Research, Hughes Aircraft, Santa Barbara Research Center, and General Motors for over a decade where he held the position of senior Technical Photographer.
Cook has been published thousands of times beginning in 1984 in electronic Imaging where her worked with a then blossoming digital camera manufacture to help bring high resolution digital imaging to the masses.

He has owned and operated his own studios for nearly a quarter century and is a leader in current digital lighting and photographic equipment.

Cook is well known in the scientific community for developing and using technical lighting methods in both scientific and commercial applications to obtain previously unobtainable results
