Megan was born in the white-bred cow-town of Templeton, California, USA. Born the daughter of a stoic heart surgeon and would-be model and a charismatic psychiatrist and former beauty queen, Megan is currently starring in Eavesdropper, L.A.’s longest-running play. She originated the role of Janet in Lil Bit of Broadway that will soon be starting a National U.S. tour that will end Off-Broadway. She has a B.A. in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in Musical Theatre from California Lutheran University and is currently studying under Mark Tillman, C.S.A. and John Swanbeck who directed Kevin Spacey in Big Kahuna. Because her parents were still Philippine citizens when she was born, she is a dual citizen of the U.S. and The Philippines. She has played a male role in every Shakespeare play she has ever been in. At the age of twelve she was chosen to be a People to People Sports Ambassador in the Gothia World Cup for soccer in Sweden. In her free time Ms. Cordero enjoys ballet, pointe, and playing classical piano late at night and is a fervent supporter of mental illness research. One of her secret guilty pleasures is regular mani-pedis with her mother.
