Gotham FX is a metro area based full service makeup/FX makeup/prosthesis/prop shop. We have over 15 years of experience, and vast previous familiarity with makeup, makeup effects, and prosthetics. We would like to offer our expertise for all your makeup/FX needs. We have more experience than most of our competitors, we have a full service and well staffed shop that can fill every FX based need (as well as suits, props, bodies, body parts, etc), we can give you a look that you feel best accents your scene, we are used to working within (sometimes extremely) strict time limits, and we always strive to work within the confines of your budget.

Weathering makeups and numerous blood effects for Civil War recreation TV Pilot.

THE MOMENT OF DEATH
Created/applied a series of death makeups for a National Geographic special.

“CLASH OF THE CAVEMEN”
Fabricated and applied a series of prosthetic makeups (hair, teeth, etc.) to create two species of cavemen- Neanderthal and Cro-Magnon. Traveled to Romania and supervised full crew for History Channel special.

"30 ROCK"
Working with the on staff makeup artist’ sculpture, molded/casted/finished a prosthetic silicone gel filled appliance for a main character's flabby/overweight belly prosthetic.
